The Board’s mission is, like that of the whole Pennsylvania judicial system, to see that the Commonwealth is a just society. The people of the Commonwealth have a right to expect high standards of ethics from judges, and the Board is an important part of the system that ensures that such standards are maintained.
The Board’s Chief Counsel, Melissa L. Norton, and its staff members are experienced effective advocates of judicial ethics. Whenever possible, they make themselves available for speaking engagements, both to inform and to learn from interested citizens, law students, and attorneys.
